How ‘Bro’ Brosdahl is revealing his ice fishing secrets to the masses

Pro angler and guide Brian ‘Bro’ Brosdahl has been taking his College of Ice roadshow across America for almost 20 years, calling in at dozens of independent retailers as well as big box stores to offer advice, seminars and his views on trending tackle.

Now the Frabill pro-staffer is making his show accessible to everyone by taking it online on Facebook Live. Starting on November 4th, anglers can learn the secrets of one of ice fishing’s most successful exponents. And Frabill will also give ice fishing fans the chance to win gear just by tuning in. A Frabill prize pack – including a Bro spinning reel, tip up, tackle bag, safety kit and Plano Edge 3600 Stowaway, will be given away in each weekly episode.

Brosdahl, along with show host, Steve Pennaz, will be joined by other pros and industry experts to share insights into fish behaviour, tackle, tactics and equipment. Guests will include Dale Stroschein, Eric Bandreit, Shane Dubois and Kevin VanDam. Representatives from Humminbird, Aquaview, Northland and Mossy Oak will also be making appearances.

The larger-than-life Brosdahl, from Minnesota, co-designed Frabill’s Bro Series Ice Fishing Combos and Northland Fishing Tackle’s Bro Bug collection. He also pioneered the Bro Dropper ice rig and the Slip Dragging method for open water walleye fishing.
